  • Afternoon Gents. Just spoke to Mar Webb from Mark Webb Electrical about some questions he has regarding an off-grid system repair he is doing:

    x 5 BYD LVS
    2 x Sunny Island 6.0s - both connected to the AC bus but only x 1 is connected to the rest of the system
    System is 12 months old and has 20+KW of PV

    Mark is just wanting to talk to someone about the correct cabling required for the batteries and inverters to make sure he's ordering the right gear before starting on the job (plugs for battery etc.). Mark has made contact/attempted contact with both BYD and SMA, but didn't get much back I think. His contact is 0416 071 396.

    Hey @Andrew Thomson - spoke to your mate Luke from Eternet Solar (Newcastle). He was just returning your call to say he fixed the problem with the RS485 unit he was talking to you about yesterday. He said it was just a power supply issue to one of the units, he's grapped a new power lead from Jay Car and all good now. 0422 124 111 if you wanted to call back.
