@Andrew Thomson Sorry I worded it badly, I suggested that he should change the snap to a GEN 24, he didn't mention increasing the size, but wanted the back up capability if possible. I detailed a 5kw because I am aware of the wait on the larger models. I suggested 5kw GEN 24 13.8kw BYD HVM.

@Mark Coles Sorry from Teagan's message it sounded like he was lookng to replacing the SnapINverter. If he adds a GEN24 inverter with battery, the GEN24 can provide backup but the snapinverter will turn off in a power outage. if you do quote the GEN24 be sure to quote the contactor and relay for backup
